The Beneficiaries
The Beneficiaries of the Project are the:
Hakkari Municipalities and Special Provincial Administration Solid Waste Management Union (HA-KA).
The Union members are Hakkari, Yüksekova, Şemdinli, Çukurca, Derecik, Special Provincial Administration and the towns of Esendere, Büyükçiftlik, Durankaya.
-Union Council – with 24 members including mayors and officials of the member municipalities;
-Union Board – with 6 members from the Council, and;
-Chairman of the Union – The Mayor of Çukurca Municipality
- Geographical area to be covered
The project area includes the entire area of the Hakkâri Province, which is in the southeast of Türkiye. The administrative centre is the city of Hakkâri.
The project area includes the members of the Hakkâri Municipalities and Special Provincial Administration Solid Waste Management Union that covers the entire area of the Hakkâri Province as follows:
